Billund's restaurant scene is limited — Legoland and the Lalandia resort have multiple restaurants that handle most visitors. Outside the parks, options are sparse. Billund Kro is a traditional Danish inn with generous portions of Danish food at reasonable prices. For a wider choice, Vejle (30km east) has a proper restaurant scene with fish restaurants, cafes, and a good market. Most families eat within Legoland or at their hotel.
