Getting There

Billund Airport (BLL) is Denmark's second-busiest airport, handling mainly charter and low-cost routes from across Europe. Norwegian, Ryanair, and various charter operators fly here; direct routes serve Amsterdam, London, Oslo, Stockholm, and other European cities. The airport is directly adjacent to the town — Legoland is visible from the runway.

By road from Copenhagen (250km east), the drive via the E20 motorway and Route 28 takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. From Aarhus (90km north), around 1.5 hours. Buses connect Billund to Vejle (30km east), which is served by the main Jutland InterCity rail line. No direct train service reaches Billund itself; car or bus from Vejle is the practical option.
