Things to Do

Legoland Billund is the main reason people visit, and it is a genuinely impressive park for families with children in the 3–12 age range. Miniland — a vast scale model of cities and landmarks built from 20 million Lego bricks — is the centrepiece. Ride attractions range from gentle to moderately exciting; the park is entirely Lego-themed. Opening season runs from late March to late October.

Lalandia, adjacent to Legoland, is a large all-weather family resort with an indoor tropical water park, mini-golf, bowling, climbing, and an ice rink. It operates year-round and is useful for rainy days or off-season visits.

Lego House (opened 2017), designed by Bjarke Ingels Group, is a visitor experience and museum dedicated to Lego's history and design philosophy. Separate from Legoland, it appeals to older children and design enthusiasts. The building itself is a striking piece of architecture in the town centre.
