The Lettl-Museum für surreale Kunst is a small museum devoted to the dreamlike paintings, films, and animations of Augsburg artist Wolfgang Lettl. Opened in 2019, it gives the city a focused modern-art stop within easy walking distance of Augsburg's historic centre.
It is a good counterpoint to the city's churches, Renaissance buildings, and older museums, especially if you like surrealism or compact single-artist collections.
