New Palace

Bayreuth's New Palace was built after the old residence burned down, giving Margrave Friedrich and Margravine Wilhelmine a new courtly home in the mid-18th century. The palace interiors include the Garden Rooms, Cedar Room, Old Music Room, and Wilhelmine's striking Cabinet of Fragmented Mirrors.

Admission also covers museum spaces and the State Gallery, so it is one of the stronger historic sights in central Bayreuth. It pairs naturally with the nearby Hofgarten and the city's Wilhelmine-era architecture.
