Zur Rose is the village's reliable Bavarian inn, a few doors from the parish church and run by the same family for several generations. The menu sticks to the regional standards — roast pork with dumplings, Käsespätzle, Wiener schnitzel, Tafelspitz — done properly rather than reinvented.
The dining rooms are wood-panelled and traditional, with antlers on the walls. Portions are generous, prices middling for the village, and the kitchen runs on time. Reservations recommended on summer weekends.
