Wittenberg's appeal is straightforward: this is where the Reformation happened, and the town has preserved the buildings and spaces where Luther lived and worked with remarkable care. A half-day gives you the core circuit; a full day allows you to slow down and go deeper. The historic centre is compact and entirely walkable.
