The Arbeitsamt is the former Dessau employment office designed by Walter Gropius and built in 1928-1929. Its clean geometry and practical layout make it one of the city's Bauhaus-era buildings outside the famous school complex.
The building now houses municipal offices, so most visitors come for the exterior and its place in Dessau's modernist architecture trail.
