The castle ruin above Adriani is reduced mostly to foundation walls, but the hilltop setting gives wide views over the surrounding mountains and the Pangaion range. The trip is more about the landscape than the surviving masonry.
Reaching the site involves about 5 km on a dirt road. It is worth considering if you have a car and want a quiet viewpoint outside Drama.
