Larger and less postcard-pretty than Mikrolimano, Zea is the main yacht marina of Piraeus and the departure point for some hydrofoil services to Aegina and the Saronic Gulf islands. The crescent-shaped harbour is lined with cafes, ice-cream shops, and a few good restaurants.
A waterside path runs around to Mikrolimano in about twenty minutes — a fine evening walk along the Piraeus coast, with views back toward the white houses climbing up Kastella hill.
