Agios Nikolaos Chapel is a tiny coastal church near Molos, tucked against pale rock with the Aegean immediately below it. It is not grand architecture, and that is part of the charm: whitewashed walls, blue water, and the kind of modest island chapel that looks completely at home in the landscape.
It works best as a short stop while walking or driving the coast below Skyros town. Come in the soft light of morning or late afternoon, when the chapel and rocks photograph well and the heat is less sharp. Keep the visit quiet; this is still a place of worship, not just a viewpoint.
