The Remains of the Dominican Monastery and Church are among the most atmospheric historic fragments on Margaret Island. The convent was founded for Princess Margaret, daughter of King Bela IV, and became one of medieval Hungary's important religious houses.
What survives is low and open to the park, so the site works best as a short historical stop while walking the island rather than as a formal museum visit.
