Island Ferries runs boats from Ros a'Mhíl (Rossaveel) in Connemara, with a crossing time of just over an hour. A bus from Galway city connects to the ferry. Aer Arainn Islands flies tiny planes from Indreabhán (Inverin) — the flight takes seven minutes and the views are spectacular. Book ahead, as seats are limited.
Doolin Ferries in County Clare also runs occasional summer services from the Burren side. Check schedules in advance, as Inis Meáin is not served as frequently as Inis Mór.
