A small museum dedicated to the Roman maritime heritage of the Ligurian coast, housed in the medieval Palazzo Peloso Cepolla. The centrepiece is a collection of amphorae and other finds recovered from a 1st-century BC Roman cargo ship discovered in the waters near Gallinara Island. The wreck, one of the most significant Roman maritime finds in the western Mediterranean, carried wine amphorae from the Campania region.
