Chiavari's main sights are clustered in and around the historic centre. The colonnaded Caruggio Dritto is a sight in itself — walk the full length of it to appreciate the scale and quality of the arcaded palaces. The antiques market on the second weekend of each month fills the streets with stalls and is well worth timing a visit around.
