Museo di Palazzo Reale

Museo di Palazzo Reale occupies one of Genoa's great aristocratic palaces, built by the Balbi family in the 17th century and later enlarged by the Durazzo family. The rooms preserve frescoes, stucco work, paintings, sculpture, and period furnishings from Genoa's noble and royal households.

It is one of the strongest palace-museum stops in the city and pairs well with the nearby Via Balbi palaces and the old port area.
