A Palermo institution since 1860, on the pedestrianised Via Principe di Belmonte. The pastry counter is one of the best in the city — cassata, cannoli, frutta martorana (marzipan fruit), and the full range of Sicilian dolci made in-house. Come for breakfast (granita and brioche) or a mid-afternoon coffee. The outdoor tables on the pedestrian street are the right place to sit.
