Torre di Nubia

Torre di Nubia is a 16th-century coastal watchtower beside the salt pans south of Trapani. It was part of Sicily's defensive line against corsair raids, but today the draw is the setting: stone, sky, windmills, and shallow salt basins.

It works best as part of a visit to the Saline di Trapani e Paceco, especially late in the day when the flats and water catch the light.
