Bistrot

One of the town's most celebrated restaurants, Bistrot has been a fixture on the Forte dei Marmi dining scene for decades. The cooking leans on the finest local seafood — whatever came off the boats that morning — with a menu that changes daily. Dishes are precise and unfussy: raw red prawns from the bay, paccheri with grouper and bottarga, grilled branzino with local olive oil. The dining room is elegant without being stiff, the wine list is serious. Book well ahead in summer. Via Roma 68; closed Monday.
