Forte dei Marmi's restaurants cater for a wealthy, discerning clientele and prices reflect that — this is not a place for budget dining. That said, quality is generally high, seafood is excellent (the Tyrrhenian catch lands daily), and the local tordelli pasta and Colonnata lard are worth seeking out wherever they appear on menus. The highest concentration of good restaurants is around the centre of town and along the main commercial street, Via Carducci; the beach clubs also run lunch service that is often very good.
