Domus Romana is a small archaeological site in central Lucca where parts of an ancient Roman house have been excavated. The remains sit close to Via Cesare Battisti and Via San Giorgio, making it an easy short stop while walking between the city's churches, palaces, and walls.
It is a modest site, but useful if you want to add a Roman layer to Lucca's mostly medieval and Renaissance streetscape.
