Porta Marzia

Porta Marzia is an Etruscan gate from the 3rd century BCE, later absorbed into Perugia's fortifications and the Rocca Paolina complex. Its carved stone arch is one of the clearest ancient fragments in the upper city.

It is a quick but worthwhile stop when walking between Rocca Paolina, Piazza Italia, and the archaeological museum.
