The Mincio Cycleway is one of Peschiera del Garda's best active outings, leaving the lakefront and following the river south through flatter countryside. It is accessible, scenic, and a useful break from the busier resort towns around Lake Garda.
Cyclists can ride a short out-and-back or continue much farther toward Borghetto and Mantua. The route is most pleasant outside the hottest part of summer days, when the open sections can feel exposed.
