Tjerrtorja is a Neolithic settlement site discovered during construction work in the 1950s. Finds from the area included terracotta figurines, anthropomorphic clay objects, and other evidence of very early settlement around Pristina.
The site is most rewarding for travellers already interested in Kosovo's deep history. It is not as polished as the city's museums, but it adds useful context to the archaeological material displayed elsewhere in Pristina.
