Liechtenstein's national museum of modern and contemporary art occupies a striking black concrete cube on Städtle, completed in 2000. The permanent collection draws on the princely collection — one of Europe's great private art holdings — alongside a rotating programme of international exhibitions. Admission is free on the first Friday of each month.
