Things to Do

Vaduz punches well above its size when it comes to museums. The Kunstmuseum, the National Museum, and the Postmuseum are all within a few minutes' walk of each other along Städtle, and together they make for a satisfying half-day. Above it all, Vaduz Castle looms on its cliff — impossible to enter, but well worth the uphill walk for the views. For a longer walk, the ruins of Schalun Castle (Wildschloss) are an hour and a half above the town through forest, and reward the climb with the best view in the country.
