The Church of St George is a Gothic red-brick church near Kaunas Castle. A wooden church stood here from 1471, before the present building was raised from 1492 onward and then repeatedly damaged, repaired, and altered through Kaunas's unsettled history.
It is an easy add-on to the castle and old town, especially for visitors interested in Kaunas's medieval religious architecture.
