Established in 1923 and covering 62 hectares, the botanical garden is run in conjunction with Vytautas Magnus University. The rose collection and tropical greenhouses are the highlights. In summer, swan-filled ponds and well-kept flower beds make it a favourite spot for a quiet walk. The garden also sells plants and flowers to visitors.
