Klaipeda's bar scene is concentrated in the old town. The Memelis microbrewery on Žvejų Street (in a large red-brick building by the Dane River) is the best-known venue: a pub, restaurant, and disco combined, with its own house-brewed beer. The old town has several jazz bars and traditional Lithuanian pubs that stay open late at weekends.
