Getting Around

The old town of Klaipeda is small enough to walk around. The ferry to the Curonian Spit runs from the terminal at the end of Žvejų Street and takes 5 minutes. City buses cover the wider city. Taxis are metered and inexpensive by Western European standards. A car is useful for exploring the coast south of Klaipeda and the Nemunas Delta.
