Kostoperska Rock is a massive volcanic basalt formation northeast of Kumanovo. The rock has both natural and archaeological interest, with finds from the Chalcolithic period and traces of a once-dense religious landscape around it.
Only a few of the churches that once stood near the formation survive, but the combination of geology, ruins, and open landscape makes it a worthwhile stop for travellers exploring the Kokino and Kumanovo area.
