Zabelski Monastery is a forested 14th-century monastery north of Kumanovo, centred on a church dedicated to the Dormition of the Theotokos. The church was rebuilt in the 19th century after earlier destruction, with heavy stone walls, a wooden iconostasis, and a quiet rural setting.
