The church of Sveti Arhangel Mihailo dominates Belavista Square, an unusually ornate building completed in 1911 in a style that mixes Byzantine, Romanesque and Islamic motifs — a deliberate echo of the town's mixed history. The architect was the local mason Andrija Marković.
Inside there is a fine iconostasis and a series of icons by the Boka Kotorska school of painters. The doors are usually open during the day and the small interior is worth a few minutes; the exterior, with its alternating bands of pale and dark stone, looks best in late afternoon light.
