The town centre and old town are easily walkable. To reach Velika Plaža, the main beach 2km south of the centre, you can walk along the coastal path in about 25 minutes, or take one of the minibuses that run from the main square in summer. Taxis are cheap and widely available.
If you want to explore the Bojana River delta or reach the Albanian border area, a bicycle or scooter hire is the most practical option. Several places in town offer rentals in summer. The road south along the beach is flat and scenic.
