Den Bosch rewards slow exploration. Start at Sint-Janskathedraal and take your time — the stone figures on the flying buttresses alone are worth an hour. Then head to the Het Noordbrabants Museum for the Hieronymus Bosch paintings, and don't miss the Binnendieze boat tour through the city's underground canals. The Jheronimus Bosch Art Center is excellent context for the work you just saw.
