Rotown is a Rotterdam institution — a music bar and small live venue on the Nieuwe Binnenweg that has been the launchpad for half the city's pop and indie bands for thirty years. Modest food at the front, a small black-painted concert space at the back with several gigs a week, and a reliable late-night crowd. The Nieuwe Binnenweg outside it is one of the best strips in town for an evening walk between bars.
