The easiest way to reach Volendam is by bus from Amsterdam Centraal. EBS bus 316 runs frequently and takes about 30 minutes. If you are driving, the town is roughly 20 kilometres north of Amsterdam via the N247. There is paid parking near the harbour and a larger lot on the edge of town.
