Håkons Hall is Lillehammer's main indoor arena, a 10,000-capacity venue built for the 1994 Winter Olympics and still in regular use for ice hockey, concerts, and large-scale events. The building's most distinctive feature is its wooden roof construction — a series of laminated timber arches that span the full width of the hall without internal supports, creating an unusual sense of space inside.
The arena is the home of Lillehammer IK ice hockey club and hosts regular matches during the Norwegian hockey season. Guided tours of the Olympic venues, including Håkons Hall, are available through the Lillehammer Olympiapark. The hall is located at Stampesletta, the main Olympic complex, a short distance uphill from the town centre.
