Lofoten Aquarium

A modest but well-curated aquarium in Storvågan (Kabelvåg) focused on the marine life of the Lofoten coast — Atlantic cod, halibut, wolffish, sea urchins, lumpsuckers, and an outdoor seal pool with daily feeding sessions. The displays do a good job of explaining the ecology of the Lofoten cod fishery, which has been pursued continuously for a thousand years.

A 90-minute visit, very family-friendly. Combine with the Lofoten Regional Museum and Espolin Gallery — all three are within five minutes' walk of each other and share a combined ticket.
