The Old Town, Kazimierz, and Wawel are all walkable from each other — most visitors barely need public transport within the city center. Trams and buses cover the wider city efficiently; buy tickets at newsagents and validate them on board. The city is also very bikeable, with a public bike scheme (Wavelo) and dedicated lanes along the Vistula riverbank. Taxis are cheap and Bolt works well here.
