Krakow's bar scene is largely underground — literally. Cellars beneath the Old Town townhouses have been converted into intimate clubs and jazz bars, and on a Friday evening they fill quickly. The Market Square itself has pavement cafes on three sides that are pleasant in warm weather. Kazimierz has a slightly edgier crowd and some of the city's best cocktail bars.
