Getting There

Krakow John Paul II International Airport (KRK) is well-served by European budget carriers, with Ryanair and Wizz Air routes from dozens of cities making it one of Poland's busiest airports. The airport is 15 km west of the city; bus 292 runs to the main train station (about 40 minutes), and taxis or ride-hailing take around 20 minutes. Trains from Warsaw take under three hours and run frequently throughout the day. The main station is right at the edge of the Old Town.
