Krzysztofory Palace

Krzysztofory Palace is the main branch of the Museum of Krakow, set in a grand palace on the edge of the Main Market Square. Its exhibitions cover the city's history through objects, weapons, interiors, and seasonal displays, including Krakow's elaborate szopka nativity-scene tradition after Christmas.

It is a good indoor stop in the Old Town, especially if the Rynek Underground has sparked your interest in the layers beneath Krakow's polished centre.
