St Barbara Church stands beside the Main Market Square, close to St Mary's Basilica but with a quieter presence of its own. Founded in the 14th century as a Gothic grave chapel, it was later remodelled in early Baroque style and served the Jesuit college.
By the main entrance, look for "Gethsemane", a group of stone sculptures by Veit Stoss. It is an easy, worthwhile pause while walking through the Old Town.
