Tempel Synagogue

Tempel Synagogue is a 19th-century Reform synagogue in Kazimierz, built between 1860 and 1862. Its interior is known for stained glass, a Carrara marble Aron Kodesh, and displays that explain the fate of Krakow's Jewish community during the Second World War.

It remains an active religious site, so dress and behave respectfully. For visitors, it is one of the key stops in Kazimierz's network of synagogues, cemeteries, museums, and former Jewish communal buildings.
