Things to Do

Sibiu's medieval core is compact enough to walk in a morning and rich enough to fill several days. The Grand Square, Small Square, and Huet Square form the heart of the old city, connected by cobblestone lanes, covered passages, and staircases through the city walls. The surrounding bastions and towers are well-preserved and many are open to visit. Beyond the old city, the suburb of Dumbrava has one of Romania's best open-air folk museums.
