A small, intimate cove of grey sand right below the Balcón de Europa, reached by steep steps down from the promenade. The little beach is sheltered by the cliffs and the row of brightly painted fishermen's houses that line the back of it.
The water is calm and clear and there's just enough room for a few sun loungers; in season the beach fills up by mid-morning. The setting — overlooked by the Balcón above, with the colourful old houses behind — makes it the most photogenic beach in central Nerja.
