Lanzarote Airport (ACE) sits about five kilometres southwest of Arrecife and handles all incoming flights to the island. The drive into Arrecife takes 10 minutes; a local bus service (line 22) connects the airport with the city centre and runs roughly every 30 minutes.
By sea, the Port of Arrecife is the second busiest passenger port in the Canary Islands. Naviera Armas and Fred. Olsen Express run regular ferry services to other Canary Islands, particularly Gran Canaria and Tenerife. The harbour is a short walk from the centre.
