Sant Feliu de Guíxols History Museum

The municipal museum, housed in part of the old monastery complex. The permanent exhibition covers the town's two great industries — fishing and cork — with reconstructed workshops, machinery, and a serious collection of cork-cutting tools. The Sant Feliu cork was once shipped around the world; the local industry collapsed in the 1980s with the rise of plastic stoppers.

The medieval section reuses the monastery cloister and shows excavations from the early Christian period, when the site was a Roman villa. Free entry, closed Mondays.
