Parc de Vallparadís

Vallparadís Park is a long, narrow green corridor that follows the old Vallparadís ravine through the heart of Terrassa. The park stretches almost 2 kilometres from the train station northwards, threading past the Sant Pere churches and the city's textile museum. It is the city's main green space and one of the most ambitious urban parks in Catalonia.

Beyond the basic lawns and playgrounds, the park preserves several medieval and early modern structures: the Sant Pere church complex, the Charterhouse (Cartoixa) of Vallparadís with its 14th-century cloister, and a series of restored masies (Catalan farmhouses). Walking from one end to the other and exploring the ravine takes about two hours and is the best way to see Terrassa's older fabric without weaving through traffic.
